Special Deputy Attorney General/Acting Assistant Prosecutor Temperance Williamson is the Chief of the Special Victims Unit. Prior to that, she served as the Chief of Grand Jury and Chief of the Trial Section. During her tenure at the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office, she has worked in the Domestic Violence Unit, Juvenile Unit, Grand Jury Unit, and the Trial Team. Ms. Williamson has tried a variety of cases, via bench and jury trials. She has spent the last 18 years fervently advocating for justice. Ms. Williamson is certified by the State of New Jersey Department of Law and Public Safety Division of Criminal Justice Police Training Commission to teach various legal topics to law enforcement officers. She is one of the founding members of the Diversity Council at the Gloucester County Prosecutors Office.
