Eileen Caraker, RN

Eileen Caraker is a registered nurse, actively practicing in New Jersey for more than 30 years. Eileen believes that everyone deserves to live in a violent free environment to that end she has dedicated her work to providing care to victims of sexual violence. She is nationally certified as a Forensic Nurse -Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner in pediatrics, adolescents and adults. Eileen has been the Gloucester County Sexual Assault Response Team Coordinator (SART) and Forensic Nurse Examiner (FNE) Coordinator since 1997. Eileen earned her Bachelor of Science in nursing from LaSalle University in 1993 and her Master of Science in Nursing Education from the University of Wilmington with honors in 2012. She provides lectures to health care, law-enforcement, universities and victim service advocates. She serves as Co-Chair for the Governor’s Advisory Council on Sexual Violence, FNE education committee, GC DV working group, Coalition for Prevention & Education of Sexual Violence, Rowan University Sexual Violence Prevention Task Force. She Chairs COMA- Commission on missing and abused children and is a member Child abuse task force NJ. She is a member state SART Advisory Board. Eileen is Vice President of NJ Intentional Association of Forensic Nurses.
